While we have tried to visit each of our respective family and friends, we know that there still may be a few people who do not know anything about Jay's "sugar chinchilla" or Leigh Anne's "honey iguana". I graduated from Henderson State University with a degree in Digital Art and Design. My goal is to work as a computer animator and I recently took a major step towards that dream by working two semesters as an intern at Pixar Animation Studios in San Francisco. I grew up in Weatherford, Texas just outside of Fort Worth and will be always be a Texan at heart. I was rudely uprooted from my friends and comic book shop at the age of 16 when my family moved to Arkadelphia. At the time I was extremely resistant to the idea of moving (especially to a comic book shop-less city) and fought it every step of the way. It wasn't until a few years later when I was having the time of my life at Henderson (and to a point, Arkadelphia High School) that I appreciated what the sudden move did for me.  Because of it I was given wonderful professional opportunities at Henderson and, more importantly, I found the love of my life: Leigh Anne. After our wedding we are going to make another major move but this one I am prepared for. Soon we will experience new adventures in San Francisco as we start the next phase of our lives together. And, lucky for me, they have comic book stores out there.

 

Leigh Anne Brewer Age: 21 Occupation: Dental Assistant Location: Malvern, AR

I am the youngest of four children, and I am the only girl, and just so you won't ask, yes, that means I am spoiled.  I have just completed my junior year at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR, where I am working towards a BA in music with a minor in theatre. After the big continental move to California, I am planning on working as a dental assistant until Jay can get a good enough job to support me in the fabulous manner of which I plan to become accustomed. When such a time occurs, I will head back to school for a quickie degree, and then move on to my career of choice: child-rearing.
