Even before Leigh Anne and I met, I enjoyed recording short movies of my dorm and family life with my digital camera. I always knew it would great to have videos of various stages of my life that I could one day show my kids (or in this case, future wife) and visually share life stories as opposed to just telling them.  As a side project I started the web comic (or a visual journal) Reddie Rants as place to store and display this information with my friends and family. The instant Leigh Anne walked into my life I knew I was going to be with her for the rest of my life. Consequently, she started appearing in more and more of my dorm recordings on Reddie Rants.  Now its great to look back and see the videos of our interactions with each other before we started dating, our first dates, our holidays together, and even the special video of my proposing to her in Rome. In a sense, we have a visual archive of our lives that we will always cherish and constantly update.

   Here are a few selected videos from our lives.  Many are small enough to be downloaded even with a modem, although the last two might take a little longer. Pre-"Dating" - Dorm room  (September 03)
  When Leigh Anne first started visiting my room, we all played a game called DDR which requires the players to dance to a song by stepping on directional arrows in time with the music.  During this time, a short-haired Leigh Anne and I flirted a little but not much else happened since she was vehemently opposed to dating anyone. My roommate Paul, who unfortunately loved being shirtless, was one of Leigh Anne's good friends at the time so he helped arrange ways for me to accidentally "run into" her by inviting her over. In turn, her friends would also help induce "play fights" which always ended up with Leigh Anne trying to prove her strength by taking me down.  In these early videos you will see some of our first interactions and flirtations, including a time where we "evicted" Leigh Anne (LeA) from our room for violating some random law-of-the-room.

Others (Feb - April 04)
  These two movies will go into their appropriate sections once they are created. The first video shows us with our friends/roommates James, Jenn, and Paul, having fun in my dorm room when we sporadically break into dance while playing a classic game show song. The second video shows part of my Valentines gift to Leigh Anne: I arranged for my fraternity brothers, who also happened to be a barbershop quartet, to surprise Leigh Anne with a serenade in the dining hall in front of everyone.
